Non-invasive cardiology. Sports cardiology. Inherited heart conditions.
From 1 January 2027, I run a practice for non-invasive cardiology and sports medicine in Samedan. I examine and care for people with cardiovascular conditions — local residents and visitors to the Upper Engadin alike. A further focus is sports cardiology assessments and inherited heart conditions: my habilitation examined the genetic background of familial sudden cardiac death, and for over ten years I was a consultant in cardiogenetics at University Hospital Zurich. Referrals from general practitioners are welcome; interested patients may also register directly.
Services
Cardiac Assessment
Echocardiography, ECG, long-term monitoring, and assessment of symptoms such as shortness of breath, palpitations or chest pain.
Sports Cardiology and Inherited Heart Conditions
Assessment before and after physical exertion, evaluation of inherited heart conditions and of families after a sudden cardiac death.
Prevention and Check-up
A structured examination of the cardiovascular system with a written report. Available as a self-pay service, on request.
Second Opinion and Expert Reports
An independent assessment of a finding or a proposed treatment.
Patients: short-notice appointments subject to availability. Consultations in German, English and French. You will receive a written report for your doctor at home.
